Coming up...

Ahead of the field evaluation tests (FETs) that kick off shortly, LiveFist brings you a six-part series that breaks down the six contenders in the IAF's $12 billion medium multirole combat aircraft (MMRCA) competition. Each aircraft's weaknesses and strengths, the political muscle of the governments that back them, an overview of their chances in the sweepstakes. Tomorrow: Part I - The F-16 Super Viper. Stay tuned.

उफ, is this really necessary? Everyone can use Mr. Google and find out all about the a/c already. Only flame wars will occur, fanned by paid agents and दलालs of respective manufacturer/lobby.

Sigh.

PS: No matter how great the US aircrafts are (and how incredible there AESA radars are), they cannot be the choice of IAF.

Its easy to see weakness & strength of other countries aircraft , let this work follows . but we need to test of our LCA's weakness & strength to fulfill our needs. it shows lca team cannot can't do their job's , so they may do this project with other trusted ( abroad & indian )manufactures who can doing this job in fastrack. Today pakistan as started production of JF-17 jets .
We have the tech of Mig29 , su30 mki, Jaguar , Lca , then what we are waiting for , at least we can make a new jet which can be better than atleast JF-10( china) in fastrack . Their are lot of options opened for india , but we are not willing to use it .
