  1. Did russia deliver any MIG-29k to indian navy.
Would love to see photographs of Mig-29K in indian colors

  2. where is the screen and where are the hydraulic system that gives the feeling of the movement to the trainee pilot??
It looks like some one has made a rigged up video game console at best.

P.S; On Prasun Sen's blog, the pictures for the simulator as made by some German company were different.

  3. i think simulator for both mig35 and mig29k going to be common simulator
cuz both 29k and 35 have similar cockpit layout this saves money

  4. first pic is for mig29k cockpit

second pic is for older mig29 air force version cockpit ,you can see the gauges

  5. Shiv, when this simulator will be delivered to IN? & when will SUKHOI corp. deliver us the 1st simulator(among 3s) of sukhoi su 30mki which was due to come in the month of march?

  6. Naval aircrafts need to have the latest technology to dominate the skies. The above pics show that Indian navy will be having MiG 29 with oldie avionics. I am still not sure why Indian navy can't go for something more advanced.

  7. The above photos are those of the MiG-29K's cockpit procedures trainer and were unveilled two years ago just a month prior to Aero Indian 2007. The flight simulator has already come from Rheinmetall of Germany and is at Dabolim and this flight simulator will have hydraulically-operated six-axis motion system. The middle photo shows the cockpit of the MiG-29SMT and it does have some standby electro-mechanical instrumentation.
