  1. What a shame! Regardless of the political tussle between the national parties one would have at least expected the Army Chief to attend the Vijay divas celebrations at Kargil.

  2. Quote: The visiting General also laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

    Respected Sir,

How about doing same thing on Kargil Memorial Dras and having some time with parents of the martyrs. That would not have added to status symbol and it was no meaning that USA visit could have been planned in such a manner that parents/martyrs are given equal platform with other VIP visits .

It seems since you have taken office, you have been in all kinds of new from corruption in NC as your nemesis Gen Panag exposed you to cases by ExServicemen to AWWA issues to CAG reports against you.

Gone are the days of goof old Sam at helm of affiars.

I am sure USA Gen would not have visited Indian on D day celebration. They were all at Normandy with US president Obama.Learn from them.
