  1. If these jackasses had spent more time building the aircraft instead of baring their yellow teeth for cameras, we wouldn't have to buy expensive Hawk from our previous owners, the british. LCA Trainer would be better than Hawk in all respects, would be a great boost to domestic manufacturing, it is just that managers and workers at HAL are total incompetent fools. Look how the morons are dressed…..total PSU slum.

  2. These images are over a year old. But when is this bird flying? And I dont want to hear "soon". you never know ADA uses soon in what sense. Soon on the geological scale can mean 10,000 years.

  3. Are the PSUs so poor or under-funded that they can afford proper work attire (uniform) to identify the different departments involved in the production process?

Another thing that is confounding is the utter lack of urgency in HAL and other PSUs such as the ones developing the Kaveri aero-engine or the ones building the Scorpeone submarine and the indigenous aircraft carrier at Cochin.

It might be a good idea to get technocrats from the Japanese or Korean industries to teach these local babus good work ethics.

Pride is sorely lacking among these PSU chai-biskoot wallahs!

  4. if these photos are also on ajay's blog means he might have copied from korean blog to see visit

How can Ajai copy photos like these?

All these images come from Ajai's personal visits to HAL.

  5. ravi, you idiot, learn to post proper URLs or use a url shortening service like tinyurl. And indeed I doubt Shiv has got the copyright for these images, he likely waiting for the holder to complain before removing them. Poor form, we expect better from someone like you Shiv.

  6. Looking at these idiots and facility does not give me any confidence about LCA.

Where did they pass out from? God why can't we get some IIT engineers?

  7. to anon @4:59am
don't you know the recruitment policy of HAL ? first of all 50% of seats is reserved for SC/ST/OBC….then out of the remaining , most seats are given on payment basis, like admission to private colleges….if you don't believe me, check out the aerospace div of HAL in bangalore…they have 35 seats in payment quota left now…the asking rate is 5-6lakhs…i heard one guy from kerala paid 7.5lakhs…..anyway what matters is who benefits from all this….there are certain CM and deputy GM who double up as recruitment agents..including one Mr.Prabhu from the PR deptt…do find out and also inform needy kids near your homes about this magnanimous offer.

  8. terminator! get your basics properly! kaveri is not made by HAL! it is messed up by DRDO's GTRE(Go Take REst!). Engineers working in HAL have sacrificied their life for their country, unlike their sold out NRI friends working like slaves in a far away land and living like second class citizens~!
As fas as attire is concerned its not a fashion parade! I dont know why the security allows morons inside! As far as work culture, efficiency and quality, yes, there is a lot to improve! unfortunately the new guys wants only more bucks and no work ethics!

  9. to all the morons in here, firstlyu as some one already pointed out HAL employees are not intended to make a fashion statement and the work culture is way better than anyother private firm and its got one of the best recruitment and training programs in the country and i understand the payment seat thing has been cooked up by an inadequately educated beggar who can never clear the written test and moreover he probably has no money to appear for another exam so i request the others tp refrain from making any such comments about HAL, i am an HAlite and am very proud to be one

  10. HAL employees are not intended to make a fashion statement

This does not mean they have to dress like a ????.

and the work culture is way better than anyother private firm

Oh shut up Mr. Troll. The products and their quality say all about the "work culture" HAL and NAL have.
