    Is there any possibility that if one of these contenders who wins the bid will open a local production in INDIA ? This will help economy to grow and more employment will generate.

  2. I don't understand why do we need this chopper when we already have the Dhruv? This is a light helicopter and so is the Dhruv. What is the justification for purchasing these choppers?

  3. Looks like the soldiers are running away from the helicopter in a hurry. Guess they have realised that this is not the best deal with in a few mins.

  4. @shailendra considering that Russians and French are the only ones left in the race, there is a good chance that local production may be part of the plan. The French are definitely considering it since a little birdie tells me that they are planning a subsidiary in India. The Russians have not been too vocal about their plans though, so cant really say whether they are looking at local production. Little chance i think.
