  1. Shiv, What will be skybird's main purpose- what does it offer compared to the the other UAV's currently used or in development, When will its first flight be?. When is Rustom expected to reach IOC type status?

  2. This is a hand launched ultra short ranged UAV.
A two man team will use this to recon the surrounding areas of a unit or by patrolling soldiers to keep tabs on their surroundings.

  3. You can bet the defence forces won't even touch it with a ten-foot pole while AK 'the secret Communist' Antony is Defence Minister. After all it is made by a private company.

DRDO will announce some new micro-UAV project next month. And keep testing it for 10 years like Nishant.
