AERO INDIA: India’s BVRAAM Astra++?

Better than (and quite different from) the clunky model they displayed two years ago on a Su-30. Astra++?

  1. Hey shiv – how come Headlines Today – which sends reporters to cover Yediyurappa shedding crocodile tears cannot send a team to Aero India to do a report on the brilliant flying displays?

  2. Airframe wise ASTRA MK-2 looks like an entirely new missile. Mk-1 was more like MICA, this one is more like a cross between AIM-120 and DERBY. However nose cone of ASTRA MK-2 is unique.

  3. am I mistaken ? where the the display pic does it say its some astra version???? or everyone believes it jst cuz the heading?
