Indian Air Force Gets New Chief

Taking over as India's 23rd Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Norman Browne today said, "The biggest challenge facing us in the coming years, is to manage [this] fast paced change effectively, without compromising on high operational standards. Operating across a broad spectrum of equipment vintage, would test our innovativeness and capabilities. The nation has reposed a high degree of trust and confidence in our capabilities. It is indeed an onerous asking, and I am confident that as capable men and women we will work shoulder to shoulder in discharging our responsibilities befittingly."

Godspeed and fair winds to the new chief.

Best of luck to the new chief of air staff, Air Chief Marshal NK Browne. Please keep your weight under control, as it is today. Obese officers are not good role models for rest of the officers. You look good and the nation knows it has a great Chief! God Speed!

We should a charity to fund gym facilities for senior officers in the Military and also a health awareness program from these old timers.
Apparently, these "warriors" don't believe in the martial ethos of "strong mind, strong body".

Isn't there a weight requirement to be flight qualified in a fighter jet? It's weird how fighter pilots can just let themselves go so badly!

Well good luck ACM sir, we only hope that you don't burst a coronary in the heat of the moment.
