An Award For Reporting In Libya

Folks, I won an award today at the eNBA 2011 media awards for excellence in continuing coverage of the Libyan uprising. Headlines Today deputy editor Gaurav C Sawant and I, as those who follow Livefist will know, spent a fortnight inside Libya in March tracking the rebels’ progress west. The award comes at a time when the Libyan people are hopefully close to reclaiming their great country. Godspeed and thanks.

  1. Colonel and his troops used rape as weapon of mass destruction. It is most humiliating crime against humanity and it is a matter of time that colonel and his family and trusted people get tried in international tribunal and get hanged in martyr's square.

  2. Congrats… You did it…

Earlier I was thinking that this is the job reserved only for the foreign correspondents… Lol…

  3. Congratulations!

But, I must observe here that much of the Indian media (not you), military people, and Indian bureaucrats were in favor of Gadhafi.
What a shame! No wisdom INDIA!
