Without design, without manufacturing support and ripped off parts for not joining NATO….wake up from your dreams…build your strength…

US has not asked India to join NATO, there is no such provision or possibility. However, to protect its highly capable and sensitive technology it has asked for safeguards like CISMOA and BECA agreements. In fact, EVERY single country, including NATO allies, Japan, Taiwan, S Korea, Australia , Gulf countries have signed these agreements without exception.

Even Israel, their closest allie has signed CISMOA and BECA agreements. India's refusal to sign these agreements raises suspicion in US. India should sign these agreements.

Forget Rafale and go for F35. Nothing beats US in quality and product support.

Yes, agree. India Airforce and Navy should acquire versions of this aircraft as soon as it can. Game changing capability.

Its great to see that Boeing is able to project manage production, testing and delivery well. Is there any information available on the real time impact to IN's patrol capability with just one or two operational P-8I's? Until there is continuous patrolling capability, opposing forces could reasonably predict when the P-8I's will return to base and work around their patrol endurance.

India has contracted for eight P8Is. Additional 4 would be contracted soon. Eventually India would acquire approximately 30+ of these aircraft.

America may charge more than Russia but at least they seem to deliver on time.

Maybe both India and Russia can learn a thing or two about how to reduce delays.

The Gorshkov and the LCA are overdue and have cost a lot of money.

US companies are able to deliver things on time because they are selling the finished products not starting from scratch. Even though P8I is bit new most of the components have existed for long time on different platforms now its a matter of integration. Never the less US firms are very good in executing things. Russia and India should learn a lot in resource management and execution.

I do not expect any problems regarding getting any needed spares during any hostilities. India has ensured multiple safeguards in its contract. Additionally, India now has a strategic partnership with US. Boeing did a great job. India must go in for the F35- Joint Strike Fifth Generation Fighter.

It is not agreements that count. China and Pakis can sign all the agreements of the world and violate them openly. We have credibility on our side. We honour commitments in letter and spirit so agreements should include our genuine concerns and respect our national interests.
