  1. I am shocked and saddened by the loss of lives of the brave IAF personnel. Dear IAF, Indians are proud of you and your great rescue work. My Condolences to the families of the deceased.

  2. We are all proud of your heroic efforts in saving the lives of the helpless people.
May the souls of the deceased rest in peace.

  3. Very saddened by the news. Seems like IAF doesn't put their inventory to use very often. When they have to use them, how much they maintained and cared for their equipment shows. The baboos and top brass of India need a kick in their ass.

  4. India'a best and pride that will inspire and hold the core values of the IAF and greatly indebted to the families of these brave men. Very proud of the sacrifices made by them to save many. A glorious chapter that will be remembered by the annals of rescue history. God is with them. Jai Hind!!!!

  5. Shiv, while you have given the breakdown of aircrafts used by IAF, it would be great if you could list the various IAF units engaged in rescue and relief operations, to give a recognition to the glorious but silent efforts put by the different units and their men and women.

  6. Russian garbage keeps killing brave Indians. Russian lobby in Russia and India loves it. Buy US Blackhawks. See how many went down in Afghanistan due to weather or terrain. Hardly any in 11 years. Human life in India is not respected.

@SHIV why havent you mentioned about the paramiltary personnel who werekilled in the crash.even they deserve a place here.arent cpf personnel live not important ?

  8. And the MoD,The IAS continue to deny the armed forces their dues even after Supreme court directing the govt to do so.!!!! Why..because the indian populous allows them to do so…

The Indian administration failed once again ( no it couldnt break its record of consistency of being a headless chicken) and yet the armed forces cleared the mess and paid dearly. Assets of the armed forces which could have been a boon to India in crisis of war succumbed to attrition rate because of the negligence, incompetancy and unprofessionalism achieved by the IAS.Yet the incompetent leads the country….and thrives to be in charge of making decision that effects a million indians..
    Isnt that dangerous?
