Who’s the dog, Achuthanandan?

This octegenarian lump of dog-poop has the nerve to hold out from apologizing for his criminally insulting statement about Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s family home. Now you know the real mentality of the CPI(M) and their petty arrogance. He doesn’t deserve to resign or be thrown out from office. He deserves jailtime with prison “bulls”. And everyone’s worst fears about Prakash Karat are now real. He’s a two-bit coward like the rest of his party. He called the CM’s comments “regrettable”. Do they invent these words for politicians?

  1. He deserves to be kicked out… This probably would have been the first time Mr. Unnikrishnan had raised his voice out of- frustration, anger and seeing the jackals in politicians. The scene where Mr. Unnikrishnan had asked the police to leave was the most poignant and heart-breaking. A simple and sober man being made to cry out like this. CM-Kerala deserves to be kicked out.

  2. Kerala’s CM Achutanandan should be slapped in public, humiliated and stripped off his CM’s seat for even daring such a statement to the family who gave India, a Brave ‘NATIONAL SECURITY GUARD COMMANDO’ who didn’t think twice before turning back to save a person’s life knowing very well that he might be risking his own, in the process. I mean, is the man mentally unstable or something. I am sure Mr. Achutanandan’s intellectual capacity will not be 1/100th of Sandeep Unnikrishnan’s Father who is a Scientist. Are these the Elected Representatives of our Nation? Are these the ones who take oath of the Constitution Of India to protect the interests of a common man? In marathi there is a quote which says – “Arre Janaa Chi Nahi Tar Manaa Chi Tari Laaz Theva Re”. ( Atleast keep some ounce on Dignity for yourself first, leave apart Respecting Others. ). This is the time the Nation – Has To Rise! Its time that we give these people what the Deserve.

And Mr. CM – A word of caution to you – ” What Goes Around, Comes Around! “

  3. Ever since public outcry against 26/11 is increasing a mail is widely in circulation through E-mail.It reads as follows-

“Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section “49-O” that a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn’t want to vote anyone!

Yes such a feature is available, but obviously these seemingly notorious leaders have never disclosed it. This is called “49-O”.

Why should you go and say “I VOTE NOBODY”… because, in a ward, if a candidate wins, say by 123 votes, and that particular ward has received “49-O” votes more than 123, then that polling will be cancelled and will have to be re-polled. Not only that, but the candidature of the contestants will be removed and they cannot contest the re-polling, since people had already expressed their decision on them. This would bring fear into parties and hence look for genuine candidates for their parties for election. This would change the way, of our whole political system… it is seemingly surprising why the election commission has not revealed such a feature to the public….

Please spread this news to as many as you know… Seems to be a wonderful weapon against corrupt parties in India… show your power, expressing your desire not to vote for anybody, is even more powerful than voting… so don’t miss your chance. So either vote, or vote not to vote (vote 49-O) and pass this info on…

“Please forward this mail to as many as possible, so that we, the people of India, can really use this power to save our nation”. Use your voting right for a better INDIA. “

  6. I’m glad that we are protesting against this lousy spineless politician!! who has no sense of respect towards the family of Major UnniKrishnan! I hope they boot him out of power!!!!

  8. pleas do not discredit dog VS is a pig bastard of the top order and how dare he call the martye a dog as he is no more to ans him PIG MANTALIETY

  9. What else can one expect from their creed?
As far as his party is concerned. The ideology of socialism/communism has been given a burial the world over. Wasn’t the statue of Lenin brought down in the very country to which this ideology owes its very inception. Why then do we in India not ban such parties altogether.

  10. MTV did a spoof on breaking his name down into vulgar syllables. But seriously.. We are missing the point here. That of responsible leadership. By the way has anyone heard of a single babu getting hung here? Thats the beauty of it. One way the politicians hang… the other way the def personnel die.. The Babu is always safe secure and totally unaccountable. When will we realise our potential to be a world power? Great leadership, proactive bureaucracy and a strong armed force.

  11. Some of our politicians are not just incompetant – they are arrogant.

Remember the tenets of democracy – For the people, by the people….

Shame on CPI(M) for not castigating this blot of a person

  12. IT IS SHAMEFUL TO EVEN REACT TO A BARKING D** WHO HAS THE AUDACITY OF USING SUCH WORDS FOR THE FATHER OF A MARTYR WHOS PYRE"S AMBERS ARE NOT YET COOLED> MOST UNFORTUNTE FOR THE COUNTRY THAT SUCH INFIRMS RULE THE COUNTRY

  13. Sweet name for our pets….’ACHU’.

Oh I apologise if this statement is being taken out of ‘Context’ and I ‘Retract’ this label if it has hurt anyone as a pre-emptive measure. Of course, if nothing of the 2 assuages, the stmnt is ‘Regrettable’.

  14. Sorry. The whole issue started when Mr.Unnikrishnan rudely turned away the Kerala CM who came to his house in Bangalore to pay his respects. The rude comment of the father who said something about dogs not allowed inside etc- made the blunt spoken CM to retort later. Only thing we can accuse the Kerala CM is for not behaving like a “deplomatic politician”.

  15. unfortunate that the reporter,Prema, either does not know Malayalam or she succeeded in twisting the comment. Shri. Unnikrishnan had said “I do not want to meet any DOGS.”
WHEN vs was asked about this “dog” phrase, he said “But for maj. sandeep, not even a dog would go to his house”
    Is that not true?
Had it not been for your son, Mr. Unnikrishnan, who would have visited you???

  16. LET NO ONE DEFEND SUCH INFIRM POLITIACIANS . IAM VERY SURE ACHUTA NANANDAN CANNOT EVEN WALK PROPERLY AND AT THIS AGE IS CLINGING ON TO THE POLITICS FOR THE SAKE OF POWER. SUCH INFIRMS SHOULD BE THROWN AMONG d**S AND SEE IF THEY CAN FIGHT AT LEAST WITH THEM –TO MAKE THEM THINK IF FATHER OF A MARTYR DESERVES SUCH WORDS TO BE USED——-CM OF KERALA DESERVED TO BE SACKED AND BARRED FROM EVEN THE CITIZENSHIP OF THE COUNTRY—–WHAT A SHAMEFUL MAN (IF HE IS ONE) TO HAVE CONDUCTED IN SUCH AWAY

  17. Sir,

I am offended that you call VS dog poop.

I have always had dogs and they always came running to me and assisted me in their own way when I needed them.

Also Sir, I have cleaned their poop and it does not stink like VS does.

Also Sir, please do not call VS pig – at least we can get useful things like sausages, ham and bacon from pigs but what we might get from VS would not be worth cooking let alone eating.

And finally Sir, is Prakash 14 carat, sorry Karat, like gold was made after his Chinese brethren invaded us in 1962 – adulterated in his feelings towards army officers who die in the defence of INDIA’s honour?

  18. Why are we wasting our time by venting our anger in this impotent manner. Nobody other than a few non politico idiots like us will read and in any case there opinion does not make any difference. Instead let us all send a postcard each to Kerala CM, PM, Defence Min and Prakash Karat telling them what we feel .

  19. There are NO* dogs in Pakistan.
Check that. Cats yes. Edible Cows and Camels etc yes.

*Or hardly any. Musharraf had a couple of Pekinese given to him by the Chinese sort of in lieu of subcontinental territory donated.

All the meek doggies are elsewhere.

  20. I have just read these comments and I am sorry to say the statements and maturity of those making these extremely negative statements are much worse than that of Achutantan’s own. We need to think and speak responsibly, if we have to have any moral right to judge the terrorists actions or the CM’s words.

If there was no concern for the slain from the Kerala CM, would he have visited them? Or should he have flown to Mumbai while the action was going on and made a speech like Modi? If there was a day’s delay in visiting the house, does that mean there is no concern?

I just watched the video on youtube. After asking the camera to roll, Sandeep’s father is setting out to abuse and discredit chief minister and another minister (looked like he lost his mind for some time). Deciding he doesn’t want to see any polititian is Sandeep’s father’s call. But he doesn’t have to say “he doesn’t want to see any dog”. What response was he expecting from the Kerala CM?

I think Kerala CM responded in a tit for tat manner, stating “no dog would have come to his house if it wasn’t for the slain major”.

In my view, the CM should have controlled his response. CM and other politiations should do their job and strengthen the security situation. And they shouldn’t visit a place where they are not welcome.

I respect and honor Major Sandeep’s action and his sacrifice. I am proud of our commandos who risked their lives to rescue poeople and kill all the terrorists. And my thoughts are with the families of victims, slain policemen, commandos and other security personnel.

But that deosn’t mean that Sandeep’s father gets the right to abuse somebody for no reason, particularly when he is a person holding a high office.

Do you think Kerala CM should be concerned only about Sandeep than any other cammandos and hence visiting only his family in another state? Or is he expected by all to visit people originating from his state? or his party? or his religion? If the CM visits the family’s house on time, is his job done and our country would become stronger?

  21. This is a good example of what are our so-called ‘leaders’ think about security personal. They see them as their body guard.

This Achut guy is another one of them… a shameless babu…. Look after so much criticism and slap through out the country he is not bothered and we are electing them!!

  22. @ Anonymous at 4:07 pm,

It seems you are not aware of the full story.
If you consider the state of mind a Father would be who has lost his Son you would understand that all the drama to sanitize Maj. Unnikrishnan’s house before the CM arrived and the security people’s insistence on checking the inside of his house with the sniffer dogs really pissed his Father off and he said that sniffer dogs won’t be allowed inside his house.
It seems you have given an absolute different twist to this incident.
