  1. Shiv,
Is this what you meant a full update on LCA? Anyways any update on radar, naval and trainer flight date??

  2. i can clearly see lca getting too delayed and IAF losing faith in this aircraft and number of induction trimmed to only 100 lca because of heavy burden of imports

it supposed to have acquired at least air to air capability by now

there are zhuk me avaiable with r77 and r73 which is already proven and so is israeli, french radar and missiles, all i will say that ADA is delaying this thing too

  3. I'd prefer an Elta EL/M-2032 radar set on the Tejas, or maybe an indigenous radar set (I haven't heard of an indigenous radar set made by India), along with compatibility with any AAM regardless of country of origin along with the Kaveri engine, then export sales to 3rd world nations can commence.

    What do you think?

  4. Elta EL/M-2032 radar is compatible with israeli missiles derby which has range of 40km only and israeli PGM

while zhuk me is compatible with r77 which definitely has better range than derby or even MICA and all other PGM like kh31,kh29,kh59,kh35 etc which india already has

while rdy2 radar is compatible with MICA and french PGM but its hell costly compared to above two radars

but the thing is despite all these above radars ADA hasn't installed any of these till now
