Cool! The Territorial Army is a nice idea. But how do they plan to utilize this army in war or in peace time?

The TA has now become like the Rajya Sabha. Full of actors and soon i'm sure actresses will join the TA en masse. They will not serve any purpose at all in the TA. The army will invite them to various official parties and they will simply provide some glamour to those otherwise lack lustre events.

    WOW .
Now our army will turn into super army. Has anyone watched tamil movies………. One bullet split into 2 with a knife to kill 2 enemies followed by martial arts unmatched even in shaolin temple.

Has any one done any study on Nana Patekar's role during Kargil? was he too much of a pain to have around or did he really help out by inspiring the troops and actually being of some use?

Nana Patekar barking orders with spit flying all around helped obfuscate our arty positions during Kargil.

A K Anthony is the type of babu who brings disrepute to the nation in the presence of well-dressed foreigners. He may dress as he wishes in Kerala but for the love of the country, he should make an effort to represent the country wherever he goes.

Don't the GOI give allowances for attire to cabinet ministers as part of the perks?

The TA is turning into a horrible joke. Make this celebwhoring stop, instead use the funds to give them better equipment and infrastructure. All the soldiers and officers who have tolerated slum like conditions and served in TA won't get a single mention in history, ever, but whores like these who will never do any real work are on media frontpage. Keep insulting soldiers and officers India, one day they will say enough is enough and change everything. The likes of A.K Anthony better have a bizjet and visa to USA ready, they'll have to make a hasty retreat to their owners.

Don't worry. The ministers collect billions of rupees as "perks". Money is not an issue. Total disrespect for your fellow human being is what it is.

    Firstly,
What AK Anthony has worn is the traditional attire of Kerala.

    Secondly,
IF we use your logic, then I suppose we should stop wearing sarees and sherwanis for formal occassions too.

Get a life dude! Then do this nation a favour and kill yourself. A person who cant respect other cultures cant respect his army.
