  1. Those are incredibly high ambitions….if they can get those percentages…u will see this baby @ every airport in the world!!!

  2. to the anonymous poster at 12:37AM..do you even know why swept wings are there on certain aircraft and not on others ? go do some research on how fast turboprops fly and whehter they even a swept wing for such speeds.

  3. hal, nal should try to get design and technology for 90-150 seat plane either from boeing or airbus

if everything goes right our rta
may go into air in 2013 and may be in 2020 plane will be rolled for commercial use
instead of wasting money and valuable time hal should try to get small plane tech and go for jv by govt , private companies to build 300-350 seat plane by 2020
iam sure hal , nal will definetly fail in rta look at the wing and why turbo pop engine why not jet engine

  4. anon @ 1237

swept wings are efficient at higher airspeeds…for lower airspeeds straight wings are better

remember the tomcats variable sweep?? 🙂

  5. I was the Anon @ 12:37….yeah thats what i'm asking for, swept for higher speeds. As for doing my research on turboprops, u can see that Tu-95 bear has turboprops and swept wings and its the fastest turboprop aircraft built. so don't question my research…do the research yourself first and dont jump to conclusions. @ Anon 6:13

  6. How wonderful it all looks on paper. Reality is very different.
This is just the same castles in the clouds that the pakistanis make when they dream about space launchers.

There will be a prototype flying in 3 years? Not possible. It will take a minimum of 5 years and upto a decade and a half to get anywhere.

Now that china has flown its first prototype, the fool ministers in New Delhi have woken up. These guys want to be like china, but don't want to spend or work as hard as them.
