Light Combat Helicopter Inaugural Flight To Be Low Key

The inaugural flight of India’s Light Combat Helicopter (LCH) will go ahead on schedule tomorrow morning, though the Defence Minister will not be chief guest — he will be replaced by Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal PV Naik. Through the day, in view of the tragic crash of the Air India Boeing 737 in Mangalore, it was expected that the event would be postponed. Will be there to cover the flight tomorrow. A moment for the dead of Flight IX-812.

  1. Even though it is disappointing to note that LCH unveiling will be a low key event, it is sensible on the part of RM and his deputy to skip the event due to huge loss of life in the mangalore air crash!!! may the souls of the people , who have lost their lives rest in peace!!! its a fatal accident!!!!

  2. It doesnt matters whether any politicians is there or not, we just want a video of LCH-Tiger on livefist 🙂

  3. we witnessed the inaugural flight . all designers, shop, office bearers were applauded for the successful flight by the defence ministry.. airforce staff… it is great achievement indeed for all who participated for this grand success..
