  1. This is exactly what privatization of our captive defense supply chain is likely to bring about – timely delivery because your bottom line depends on churning stuff out at a furious pace !

That apart , the C-130s are going to be a true force multiplier extending the IAF's reach beyond the subcontinent for military and humanitarian missions and project our new found confidence as a growing power to be reckoned with the world over.

  2. Who asked the firangs to paint the hindi wordings? Couldn't they just have delivered the birds in grey itself and then our folks could have painted the wordings. The wordings looks like written by some kindergarten kid. Anyways, waiting for these birds to join our workforce. THANKS FOR FINALLY BUYING SOME GOOD QUALITY STUFF IAF!!

  3. @Anon, As I looked at the picture for the first time, the first thing that crossed my mind was the quality of finishing on this plane compared to the crap that DRDO and HAL come out with. The Hindi letterings are done by computer painters instead of some fool on the street. Look at the LCH for proof. Look at the flush rivetting on this plane and the Tejas. This is a transport aircraft and it has better workmanship than the best aircraft HAL can come up with in 60 years.

Have you seen Boeing Apache Longbow helicopter personally or have you seen any of its high quality picture? Just compare the finishing, and you will know how far we have came. The first LCH made by HAL has very comparable finishing with a serial produced Boeing Apache Longbow.

  5. I really appreciated the way this C-130J have been produced in such a short span of time, this must be the only procurement in last ten years completing way ahead of schedule.

    Bhartiya Vayusena on C-130J, Outstanding!

  6. @ Anon @ 0123….

you judge work by the quality of the rivets…..that just about says everything about your opinion…..

@ your company…thats probably the level of the biggest task you have done…..

Why i'm i attacking you….coz u r out here attacking ppl who have sacrificed big pay packets and the associated comforts to work for this country…..
most of them if they choose to come into a pvt company will be welcomed with both hands

for the amount of effort that goes into developing an aircraft like the LCA when the last effort was in the 1960s….you bloody well need to appreciate that…..you will probably be happy to get foreign stuff ….its people like you who will never let this nation go forward…..all ppl like you will ever do is be an armchair critic…….those people have tried to give the nation something..
