Saab Puts Sea Gripen On India’s Vikrant-class Carrier

This impression of the conceptual Sea Gripen roaring off the deck of India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier (INS Vikant) is part of a recent presentation that Saab made. The ship impression is of course this one, released last year by Indian naval designers.

  1. Agree with Spaz. First image is mirrored.

Having said that, the Gripen makes a wonderful transition to Tejas once its more available.

  2. BUY the Rafale or the EF-2000 not the gripen.having all technology transferred from Eads or Dassault is the best thing we can have.

  3. Shiv, dont no why you put abt Saab……

Remem they r proving AWACS to Pakis…

And thus having fun by seeing the fight b/w India and Pakis….

  4. "the best thing we can have"…….
    Hmm…answer me..who told you that?
And on if so…based on what fact?

It's a known fact that in all cases EADS or Dassault has been involved in TOT…this has been everything but efficient….and of cours..the cost and the man hours…..jesus!!!!

  5. @ Anon 12.26, Silly comments. They are into a business and are doing it. Just because you are having enmity with some country doesn't mean every other country have to. Why don't you apply the same logic to unkil's companies? And why are we doing business with chinkis when China is considered as India's potential threat? Why don't we see France in a similar league? They too are selling weapons to bakis. If we keep thinking like that, we can never get our due respect. Stop being a paranoid. If a beggar can buy so many things, just imagine how many things can we buy.
