  1. Good to see this. It's shameful that a country whose population is less than Mumbai is selling us this whilst we can't even hot fuel this beast on indian roads.

  2. Some of these highly observant paper beasts never unlearn. Their standard operating procedure is to thieve ideas from various sources and present nothingness.
What collated argument it is about Sweden, Japan, Britain, Spain, France being small countries and manufacturing elite weapons – is incomprehensible.
All these patriotic Indians need a family to vacation in Europe and express their variegated, wholehearted love for Europeans and Americans. Perhaps these nations will offer them honorary dual citizenship for their persistent avowal of western military products. And hopefully, give them an IT related job in SAP, JDE, VB, .NET, Web Services, Ajax, T-SQL.
    LOL.

  3. MPatel,
Very much true. Nonetheless, look at Sweden. It doesn't have neighbor like Pakistan, China, and Bangladesh. They can spend a lot of money for education, and are doing it and stressing on higher education. Whereas in India, our higher education sucks! In early 90s, the a junior research fellow used to get a salary of Rs. 1600 per month, no bonus, no increment. Even those who cleaned the public toilets used to earn more than that.

Now things have changed, hopefully within 10 years we can expect some high tech research and products come out from India.

  4. This is an "OR" configuration aircraft. It can do a lot of things but if one thing is replaced by another like cartridges and NOT all at the same time. Like drop-tanks are added to boost the range figures but what does it carry to such long ranges? Minimal payload.

At the end of the day, it is a single enginned plane. MMRCA should buy a twin enginned plane that is superior to f-16/j-10 and not something equivalent to them. Typhoon/Rafale
would be the best choices inspite of the cost.

  5. @pak china jf17 block 2…beat this

I HAD SEEN THIS DESIGN IN 2007 DO NOT WANT TO COMMENT ON IT JUST HOPE THAT IT WILL FLY WITH ALL THAT WELDING AND REVETING.

THIS MODEL IS NOT LOGICAL IF IT WAS J-10 WOULD NOT HAD BEEN MANUFACTURED AND IF I AM CORRECT PAF IS KEEN TO INDUCT J-10 NOT J-17

  6. "Looks more like our Tejas."

In what way? It has a couple of wings and an engine. It's impossible to judge an aircrat by superficial similarities.
