DRDO Officially Names AURA For The First Time

Here’s the first time that the DRDO has referred to India’s top secret stealth unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) programme by its official name, AURA, a name that remained unknown until it was revealed for the first time on Livefist earlier this year. This appears in the latest edition of TECH FOCUS, the DRDO’s technology journal, this one focusing on the Indian UAV programme. Read the rest of it here.

  1. rustom has 35hr endurance but only 350km range !!! they need to develop a satlink to make good use of the endurance and increase range else it will be just a tech demonstator+

  2. I am getting sick of seeing all the PSU names coming again and again in all defense products… when will we get rid of these giant rotten, fit for nothing FAKE RATNAS…

Did Rotten Tata hire you to brainwash the public into gifting away "Ratnas of India" to baniyas for free?
We have seen how they have bought the scribes and bureaucrats for their nefarious purpose. How are these pvt companies being roped in high tech defense sector when they have no exposure or capabilities? In the name of ToT to Pvt sector, who is paying the price for ToTs? Is it the Indian taxpayer? We gift away multi million dollar foreign tech to these corrupt companies for free and next we also buy all their stuff without any competition? This is another novel method to swindle vast amounts of India's wealth by few corrupt business and political families. No wonder we have largest number of billionaires and also the largest number of people living below poverty line in this country. Recent exposure of nexus between big corporate houses who tom tom their "ethical practices", journalists touted to be "bold" and filthy netas with shady PR firms only vindicates my point. More than 30 billion $s were swindled away by this coterie in just one 2G scam.
