Tejas-Mk2 is clearly an elongated Mk1 with more power and space to equate or exceed the vaunted Gripen-NG.
Finally the aspect ratio seems perfect on the Tejas ! the Mk2 seems to have taken care of all the major drawbacks noticed on the Mk1. Additional fuel for more fuel fraction means longer range and endurance and once the basics are right, additional or more modern avionics can be added at a later date.

Shiv, can you kindly present us a comparative study between Tejas Mk 2 and Gripen NG?? I don't want to hear the Air Chief dubbing Tejas as "Mig-27++"..
