  1. better hide your wallet and personal belongings the crowds are beginning to rob foreigners and even assault make sure you stay safe as well mate

  2. While you are in that part of the world see if you can also cover the plight of sailors held hostage by Somali pirates.

It is has been almost a year in some cases. Heard Adm Raja Menon on TV yesterday criticizing AK Antony for not doing anything to help.

Though evac in Libya is far from over and you'll have much on your hands.

    Take care and stay safe.

  3. SAVE JOURNEY APART FROM YOUR MAIN ASSIGNMENT IF YOU COULD GET SOME (NOT FORCING YOU) INSIGHT FROM THE REVOLUTIONARIES ABOUT INDIA IF THEY CONSIDER INDIA TO BE A FRIEND IT WILL HELP.

  4. All the best to you shiv and hope that the Gaddafi Administration doesnt pose problem to the security of Indians or else as said by our defence minister, our forces(Air force and navy) are ready and just awaiting the orders to counter the problem in Libya and to escort Indians safely back here.

  5. Gaddafi is bullshitting foreign media for the worsening situation, so there would some killing-firing if you go all out and try and be over-smart..save your life as you are newly married.

  6. Pl let us know whether the turmoils of the popular peoples democratic revolutions were worth it or not.

Or it all was a ploy to sell the redundant F-18/16's to whomsoever concerned.

  7. Write about the public mindset before the revolution, the nature of revolution and the support those elements got, If it is worth its pinch of salt lets start one here in India to get rid of the corrupt goons ruling us.

  9. Shiv, ever since you left it seems your blog is being somewhat neglected, because the comments I've posted on the Kaveri thread below are not showing up despite repeated attempts.

  10. As a responsible global power why doesn't Indian government and India Defence Forces invade Libya and save it from anarchy.
