Yet Another Impression Of India’s Stealth UCAV Concept

This image, of India’s Autonomous Unmanned Research Aircraft (AURA), featured in a recent presentation by ADA director PS Subramanyam. This one appears to be a top-shot of the impression here. Design concepts are being generated by ADA’s stealth workshop.

  1. Go ADA go !! In your moments of doubt just remember that there are at least a few who believe in and support your endeavours.

  2. They have to be successful. Even their photos look like stealth at the first glance from a small distance.

  3. Let us raise a fresh force of believers to support and operate these craft. There have been enough of roadblocks to the previous projects.

  4. The IAF does not deserve the AURA. They should continue to work with whatever can be imported. The navy should be the only service privileged enough to operate such equipment.

  5. Even Raptor comes from a paper planes only…Our nation has good skill and knowledge in this field and we can achieve it…All the best for DRDO…It is necessary for the nation…

  6. damn…yet another sketch and model.

I think we are just good at making sketches.

    Showing 'swarg' in your palms.

    I am bored

  7. Some designers are not going to be satisfied till they see the completely transparent UAV's loaded with transparent missiles. Lol…

  8. they have such a level of stealth that even their concept photos are not also clearly visible……I'm feeling like a deceived radar when lookin at them…..just joking….best of luck with the project….one day our paper plane will become pepper for the chinki -paki noses poking into Indian skies….

  9. @ Shiv and aviation experts…
from the second picture it appears that the exhaust is at the bottom of the aircraft….is it possible to have it above ..i.e have some sort of structure under the exhaust…woudnt it provide some amount of protection from IR guided threats?..

[or am i missing something big like some fundamental law in aerodynamics]

  10. Well, i dont care how many times ADA have delayed the projects, after all even the USA failed in most of its early projects, ADA i support u, Best of luck

  11. this all this stupid organisation does.. make models.. where are the real stuff? another 2 decades away???

  14. All I've been seeing for the past six months is bad CGIs painted with tricolour. We should have partnered up in BAE's Taranis or Dassault's Neuron stealth UCAV projects instead. Unlike this one they are fully equipped for combat, complete with internal weapons bays.
