  1. The Aircraft carrier Admiral Garbage should have been called Airavat – white elephant!

That was a total rip-off and utter and complete waste of every paisa spent.

Thank you MoD (also called Ministry of Dullards) for that epic boondoggle.

  2. Defense requirements changed sooo fast. Just years ago we were happy with mig-21s.
Anyway cooperation with Russia is key to success. Euro union is the model. It would be dumb to spend billions alone on R&D.Defense requirements changed sooo fast. Just years ago we were happy with mig-21s.

  3. Shiv,

I don't know what you have done to
your blog, but it takes a hell lot of time to load your page even on a T1 connection. May be it is the integration with facebook and twitter and other sites that is playing havoc with your blog.

Previously, even with all the video content, it used to load quite fast. Its not that my machine
has become slow because I can still
    stream HD content w/o interruptions.

  4. The vital defense cooperation between India and Russia should be strengthened. Obviously Russia need to hurry in these matters to control the mutual cost escalations.

  5. Anonymous @ 8:52 PM, thanks for the uneducated view on R&D.
R&D is not about building a sports car without learning the making of modern fuel injection system, specifics of fluid dynamics to remodel the the car outer body and management of different systems. R&D is the other way round.

Has we not learnt to build the firs car, we would not have different car variants on road.

People like you are most welcome in Indian R&D organisation, who throw the R&D concept in air. Good on people like you, for we have been forced to move to private industries or abrod.
