  1. Puerly personal choice,

    Please select both.

Eurofighter typhhon: Best multirole and interceptor fighter.

    Rafale: Best strike fighter.

  2. whoever it wins, can HAL indigenously produce these jets in india when they cannot maintain the tejas timeline

  3. Why so much excitment if the results are to be anounced in march 2012?

    Go Rafale !!!!!
Bether than EF as a multirôle aircraft!!!

  4. @5.36pm
u want both u know maintaining and flying different different aircrafts are difficult, expensive and risky

  5. MMRCA = Medium Multi-Role Combat Aircraft.

    Typhoon: Pure air defense aircraft.

    Rafale: Pure multi-role combat aircraft…!

  6. As expected, the competition and choice are really tough. Rafale may get it due to experience, price and TOT. However it may face difficulties on the offset front.

  7. All of the people above that prefer the Typhoon to winn the MMRCA seem to have forgotten one crucial element of this competition.
The IAF is looking for a MULTI-ROLE aircraft!
That is an aircraft designed to be good at A2A combat & A2G missions.
The Rafale was designed from the start to fulfil this role, which has bee proven in Lybia. It's more capable in ground attack and it is very good in A2A combat.
The Typhoon was designed to be an Air Superiority fighter, a role in which it excels. But the IAF has already the SU-30 MKI, why buy another one?
The Typhoon is NOT designed as a Multi-Role aircraft!
Therefore, the Rafale is answers better the requirements of the IAF, France has proven to be a reliable partner, there is some commonality with Mirage2k, the electronics and armament are 1st class, there is a navalised version and it's very good at both tasks, A2A & A2G, plus full technology transfer!
The Typhoon flies higher and faster but it can not match the manoeuvrability of SU-30 MKI, and it is not design as a ground attack aircraft.
    Veredict: winner is…….RAFALE!

  8. Thank you for changing the orders

    During all the day,
Rafale was the first choice (end of the day 800)
Typhoon was the second choice (end of the day 600)

Now Rafale is the second with 608 and Typhoon the first with 813. What a wonder!

    Thank you for the hacking!

  9. If Rafale is selected, this will be another BOFORS scandal that India cannot afford. Best thing would be to reconsider F-18 and GRIPEN.

  10. Bwwhhaaaaa ! it change the names between the vote score ! so goood, you are wonderful ! :-))))))
lol, so many people had saw the manipulation or hacked page.

  11. I am afraid the typhoon may win and BAe again will come into picture.Oh!! God!! lets be screwed by the French instead of the EU!!!!Rafale, you will make it!!!

  12. Bhailog ,

Pl clarify – we do not have sufficent numbers in pilots to man our existing kites; who will man the dual seat MMRCA .

Secondly until we get these fancyboys in our vayusena what will fill the dwindling numbers of Mig 21/s.

Aur hamare basic trainers kahan hain ?

Finally with Tejas evaporating by one more year/decade etc. why not adopt Hawk 2000 on compassionate grounds and get a few squadorns in as point defense fighters ?

    Thank You.

  13. Rafale is a better choice for India!! Deal with one country instead a group of countries that can't even agree amongst themselves. Just have to make sure that we get a fair deal for full ToT and offset proposals where key elements of Rafale are produced in India. We need jet engine technology immediately for Tejas and AMCA which can come from Snecma. Snecma is already working on Kaveri.
