IAF MiG-29 Pilot Still Missing

This is Squadron Leader Dharmendra Singh Tomar, who remains officially missing, over 48 hours after the MiG-29 he was flying crashed in the Chokhang mountains of the Lahaul and Spiti valley on Tuesday night. Late yesterday it was revealed that search teams had managed to find parts of the wreckage in the Chokhang area. Snow continues to hamper search operations, which continue today for the third day. (I would like to thank Sqn Ldr Tomar’s friends who I’ve been in touch with, some of whom have been kind enough to share information and photographs of him with me. We continue to pray.)
