VIDEO: 79th Anniversary of the Indian Air Force

This video was played at the Chief’s press conference yesterday. Has a lot of good rare footage, and some 3D recreations too.

  1. Does IAF decide how and when India decides to intervene in any part of the world in its supreme interest. The GoI should seek answers from the armed forces regarding their utterances and their attitude. The country spends its treasure to pursue its interests. The wings of the government should not and cannot try and subvert the national will. If they do not mend their ways, then it is time to clip their wings.

  2. @Anon 12:26 pm: please enlighten us as to when have the defence forces of India acted against the will of the government or people..? Wake up and smell the coffee.. we are a true democracy unlike Pakistan, where the will of the people is subverted often by the armed forces…and as a result of which the Pakistani people and the Pakistan of Jinnah's dreams has been reduced to nothing more than a sham of a state where the will of the people or Govt doesnt matter..

  3. Anon 1:27 pm: Thats what the Pakistani forces have thought repeatedly but have got a bloody nose each time.. IAF will be able to defend India from external aggression as it has over the years.. but first my dear.. Pakistan and its forces have 2 protect the PAK land of pakistan from imploding as is happening now!Hope the pakistani forces are able to save Pakistan from itself.. 🙂 good luck

  4. good one man!!!!
though a lil embaressing to see 1960 and 70 vintage airvrafts still forming the main squadrons…. but still an ode to the air force… that still flies them

  5. @Anon @1:27 pm.LOL,and what causes you to make that profound(everybody else read supremely idiotic) statement??

  6. Nice Video this time.

I am fed up and totally bored of repeatedly hearing the voice of 'the guy' who always speaks in some bizarre accent.

Every english ad or movie preview this guy speaks in a strange voice and bizarre accent that is not representation of India. There are many good voices in India that can lend their voice and accent (of course not that thick Indian accent that has become trademark) that is more Indian than strange mix of british and US accent.

I watched with mute on and it is superb.

Go India and 'GOD BLESS INDIA AND IAF' !!! (how about that for US style!!!!!)
