  1. Hi Shiv,

Awesome video! I loved the pics but this took it to a whole new level. Very detailed and it's the first time I've got to see an Indian sub in action.

  2. Shiv, Thanks for the video. But now it seems that INS Chakra is being much overhyped topic in the blog. I request you to focus more on delayed defence procurement & acquisitions. Your blog will provide the platform for much needed consensus for highlighting the deficiency of arms & ammunitions in our armed forces.

  3. There is a lesson in this for Mr Anthony… Just look at what good state-of-the-art equipment does to the morale of the forces. The Navy seems to be in seventh heaven!

  4. @Anon 1:28 PM: Yet that Kabaad from Russia imported by India is making the Pakistanis $hit in their pants talking as they are about this disturbing the regional parity and other BS..

  5. Great video Shiv, thanks for uploading, this must have indeed boosted the spirits of the Navy and with the INS Arihant getting ready for induction soon, along with other planned inductions like frigates-INS Teg, destroyers- INS Kolkata and the aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya , 2012 surely seems to be a great year for the Navy..not to mention plans being afoot to lease another of these beauties..

  6. there have been reports that INS CHAKRA has been provided with only enough fuel so that it can patrol for only 80 days a year.
    Is it true?
shiv can you clarify from your friends in navy about this.

  7. it was funny when the cap was blown away by the wind at 2.16 mins…any ways good to see chakra ..hoping for some more…

  8. trqaitor manmohan singh will make sure that that laoned nculear submarine secret is paqssed on to manmoahns singhs masters the angloaqmericaqns

  9. It is not quantity weapons, arms and ammunition we have. The irony is that how we use it in peace and war?

We cannot escape from National and International Politics, but how good the man at helm, I mean COAS,CNS and CAS. Beyond their tenure worries, they should focus the morale and training of men at all levels.
