  1. Why comment on something that you have do not control. The chief's predictions turned out to be wrong, I guess now it's deputy chief's turn.

  2. My God..if this is true.I swear I will buy tonnes of sweets and distribute it to Puneites on the streets of Kothrud. My fingers are crossed and I believe in the lord Almighty..God bless India… May the Leaders of this country have the resolve and the goodwill and the determination to take this decision. Finally there will be some strong wind under the wings of Indian Airforce.

  3. These corrupt leaders of Congress will never happened this deal get finalize. That why negotiations are going on for last 2 years after Rafael is selected as L1. I dont understand Why Defence forces personnel are not in negotiations. Why only MOD corrput personel are taking part. See other countries in every deal, their Army, airforce or navy officers are present in deals discussion. These corrpt people need crores of commission and now I think no country is ready to pay then commision so These MOD corrput people are delaying this without considering Inida's security.

  4. mirage upgrade deal at irrationally high cost & rafale selection before u.p election. now contract before loksabha election. big money, big commissions, big stakes involved. influencing electoral proceedings through tainted money earned through corruption would surely be a death knell for democracy, something armed forces claim to preserve. politicians, beurocrates, big buisness houses (Reliance), defence experts, even top brass of IAF , all involved at thew cost of common man. media is surprisingly silent on mirage upgrade deal.what an irony…….

  5. Sad to see Indians celebrating $20 billion to import weapons. I am confident that HAL will learn nothing from tech transfer and we will be importing the next fighter too. A dated technology like Rafale at over $100 million a piece is outrageously pathetic for a country like India where value for money is deeply entrenched in culture.

  6. Dear concerned, pls close this deal asap. atlest some peoples will get job and india will grow.we need tappu stop all politics and lets close this deal ..we have to so much projects in india. behalf of all Indians I am requesting pls close before this year.

  7. Shiv, why have you and Ajay stayed mum over the movement on the part of the MoD to cancel the A/W orders in response to the arbitration notice by the latter.

  8. China brought Su-35 fighter plane from Russia. These fighter planes are much advance compared to Su-30MKI and Rafael Fighter Jet. Don't you guys think India should sign this deal early.

  9. who said china has bought Su-35 from russia,

it was rumour and always has been…

china will not get su 35 as they are ONLY interested in Al-117S,

russia is concerned about possible reverse engg…

all the articles on web is just a lie , even russia has denied it….

  10. The IAF wanted 126 Mirage 2000-Vs in 2001 had the NDA govt agreed then the deal would have been signed in 2002 and by 2009 all the aircraft would have been in the inventory . right now the IAF would have been negotiating purchase of an additional 63-80 aircraft and that too Dassault Rafales with AESA radars.
