Following confirmation of at least a five year delay in the indigenous aircraft carrier programme, the Indian government will shortly approve a further $362-million towards the beleagured programme, [reports NDTV](http://www.ndtv.com/article/india/indian-aircraft-carrier-more-costly-already-delayed-294997).

As I reported here in August, the new *Vikrant*, won't be commissioned before 2017.
