India's Brand New Frigate Hits Mooring Wall

Kalinigrad.ru reports that India's brand new stealth frigate INS Tarkash hit a mooring wall while departing the quay recently at the Yantar shipyard where it was built. The report quotes Yantar officials as saying that the ship did not suffer serious damage, and has continued its journey.

What if India gets a crashed frigate? Nothing, it just proved how fit it is.. ;-)

So would it be safe to assume that Russians will offer a "Scratch and Dent" discount, like my local appliance store does here in the US? :)

Should have waited until the rush hour was over to leave port.

Facepalm. Can't Russian shipyard do anything right? I look forward to the day when India can build ships without those fools.

Why are INS ships in the news lately for such incidents. First it was a boat ramming into Aircraft Carrier Virat at Cochin port, then INS Sindhyagiri (now decommissioned because the damaged caused by the incident at Bombay harbor),followed by collision of 2 kilo class submarines (INS Sindhuratna & INS Sindhukesari at Bombay harbor, now INS Tarkash in russia. What the fish is going on with the man behind the wheel?
