tell me one thing,shiv….u said a few days ago that scorpene has X-shaped rudder….but these pic show that the rudder is similar to other subs ie 2 vertical and 2 horizontal tails….so tell me whats the truth?
Why do we need to buy these sensor and processing tech fom France? Even if we lack in hardware, aren't we supposed to be the "IT Superpower"? Why can't we build our own processing software and suite to manage the hardware. Are we reallly good for nothing but call center work, or do the babus and netas get 'comission' when they order expensive stuff from other nations?
You're correct there. Heavy dependence on foreign imports is not making India an 'IT superpower'.
@ anthony IT Superpower in the field of maintenance software only. We still do not do nay ground breaking R&D. There is no culture in India to do that.
military softwares are harder to produce(like radar software) than the software for commercial use.
With the kind of work culture we have in the government,one cannot expect any ground breaking R&D in India.
