The naval configuration is shown with a ship having Revathi radar. So are P28 corvettes going to get SR-SAM?

Hope this will not be a modified MICA.
If yes it will be nothing more than licenced production in the garb of joint venture

Looks great ! Joint missile is a very good idea. Co-development DRDL/MBDA should lead to a very efficient system. I hope the project will be sanctioned soon and the system introduced at the earliest !

There is a Russian SR-SAM PANTS1R. It was tested successfully recently and is being inducted in the Russian armed forces. How come India does not bid for that product?
What joint development can the French offer more than the Russians?
We have become a buying machine with products coming in the next decade if ever!
Our greatest allies are discards in the race to find new friends/maitrey! One should tread with caution as far as the French/NATO allies are concerned. I am not going to add anything more.

It can be hoped that it may incorporate live technologies from the French Mica and Trishul.

French is considered to be reliable and trusted partner in TOT , the tech from most successful missile mica , india will regain its strength in Surface to air platform against chinese/pak .India already succeeded major success in Brahmos and also in Barak 8 ( on going project) due to Joint Venture .
