Flying Maruti to beat India's Unmanned Tracked Ground Vehicle – MUNTRA.
The flying Maruti which was showcased at last year's Aero India for the first time, is set to get it's initial operational clearance after over 50 successful test flights.
Being developed by a private entrepreneur in Bangalore, it is being designed to run on a mix of LPG and petrol.
The single engine vehicle will feature the kaveri engine working on the tornado principle.
The car is capable of becoming invisible, even to radar. This capability is being showcased at the ongoing Defexpo in Delhi.
The flying car's reconnaissance capability also far outweighs India's Embraer spy plane. Former secretary Defense Production, Shri RK Singh is understood to have applauded the capabilities of the platform and directed Gurpal Singh, Director General CII, to allot free space to it at Aero India last year.
Test flights are being carried out at Jakkur aerodrome.
The airframe of the car is also being modified to carry Brahmos payload. For areal+ground launch capability.

Lets hope that it can take a hit from a RPG and still keep going also the engine is in front so that the troops can get out from the back and attack the enemy with the cover of this vechical also if it does not have even these things i will opt for bicycle (if NSG can use buses in 26/11 cycle will be good for CRPF)
Shiv Sir, What is the meaning of MUNTRA?
