    IMO this is a radar prototype thats being tested for the HAL Tejas. Probably an AESA. The aircraft shown is the famed ASP(Airborne Surveillance Platform).

    The photo is that of the MMR Radar installed on the Hack Aircraft. This radar is being developed for LCA Tejas program and reportedly has a detection range of 120 kms.

    its tejas mmr over hs 748 avro modified testbed one of these was a platform for flop show project airawat which crashed .but this prototype was not satisfactorily functioning had some malfunctioning in a2a mode as much as my knowledge is concerned .well mr shiv it was'nt a big mess.

    WELL I READ SOMEWHERE WHICH STATS THAT MARK 1 VERSION IS NOT CAPABLE TO GO BEYOND MERE 6G TURN ,DOES NOT HAVE HIGH ALPHA CAPABLITY NEITHER MANUEVERABLE NOR CAPABLE FOR DOGFIGHTING .I FELT LIKE A HOAX BUT WHAT'S YOUR OPINION .I THINK I HAVE ASKED A SENSITIVE QUESTION I AM VERY CURIOUS ABOUT THIS FIGHTER

    Its definately not AESA radar. since i see a mechanical steer. I think its a pretty old MM – doppler radar of some aircraft.
