The Flightline At Aero India: Day 1

Not only am I not a very good photographer — there appears to be something wrong with my camera lens (as you can no doubt see from the smudges on the pictures),  and I don’t have a spare. So you’ll have to forgive the photo quality unless I can find a Plan B.

  1. if I want to see both the flying display and static display (i.e the pavillions and the parked rudra etc) which ticket should I take? aero India website is utterly confusing

  2. Shoot in automatic(i am sure all cameras have one), the aperture seems to be reduced and also your camera seems to be focusing on a distant point, therefore the blurring.

  3. @Rintu

You need to buy the Rs. 1000 ticket for the Weekend exhibition and air shows and Rs 2000 for the Weekdays.
BTW are you getting the tickets from Axis bank?? I tired but it seems they have stopped giving out tickets and now its only available at Yelahanka.

    Thanks
    Sanjeev

  4. Shiv, those are very tiny specks of dust that have lodged on your cameras CMS/CCD sensor. Do not changes kenses on your body in the open as it will attract dust. See if a buddy photographer there can help you with it. A blower may be able to remove the less stubborn specs of dust.

  5. Seen all, download most but throughout i felt something is missing….. WoW! LCA MK-2 why nothing so far? Please Shiv please something please. Thank you!

  6. day 1 – was totally disappointed with the ADVA pre-register counter officials' lousy way of working:
    1) around 2-10 pm they were installing software for issuing tickets booked online
    2) even after that none of them knew how to use the software
    3) at around 2-35 pm out of the 8-9 counters only 3 counters were operational
the result – we got our passes at 3 pm & thus had to watch the aerobatics of SUKHOI, F-16, TEJAS etc from outside & couldnt enjoy fully.
GOD HELP INDIA IF THIS IS THE WORK CULTURE OF GOVT BODIES!!!
EVEN A BUNCH OF SCHOOL PASSOUTS COULD HAVE MANAGED MUCH BETTER!!!

  7. You seem to be filtering out posts. I suggested you a camera rental company which I though would be useful for you in bangalore. but you choose not to approve the post.

Note: I have not relation with those people.
